Multi Point Injection Technology

The patented Multipoint - Injection - Process is applied for the simultaneous injection at the three hot-spots of the electric arc furnace. Our technology makes an individual injection at the hot-spot of either the same or variable quantities possible.

Active Chemical Energy Concepts (ACE):

Fixed-installed injection lance system (side wall-mounted or in the EBT) for the supply of thermal energy into the furnace and oxygen into the steel bath. Fully automated operation, independent of the operating personnel. Depending on the process oxygen, gas and/or solid materials like carbon, are injected in an optimal way with regard to time and quantity. ACE lance system provides for an ideal set-up for a modern multi-point installation with an optimized injection process never experienced before.

Lime Injection Technology

Dolomite Lime will be injected into the Hot-Spot areas of the furnace into the interface between refractories and scrap. The Lime sinters on the furnace wall and protects the refractory in the Hot-spot areas.
